Business Mentoring
Mentoring provides your employees with an opportunity to talk about issues they are facing and gain advice and a new perspective from someone more experienced.
Mentoring usually takes place on a one-to-one basis. It can be completed independently or in conjunction with other training or professional development programmes.
Why Should I Consider Mentoring?
Business Benefits
– Helps you to develop new talent – and retain them
– Enhances leadership skills
– Increases a sense of shared values and aims within the company
Employee Benefits
– Exposure to new ideas and ways of thinking
– Advice on developing strengths and overcoming weaknesses
– Guidance on professional development and advancement
Our highly experienced team can provide individual mentoring sessions with team members in all areas of your business. This provides them with a place to talk about their issues and open their minds to looking at things differently.
We also offer coaching and executive mentoring to managers who are perhaps new to a leadership role or need support in helping them make the next step.

Mentoring Young People
PJW HR Consultancy is a proud supporter of The Prince’s Trust. Our Director, Pam Whitehead, has been a Business mentor with the Trust for over 12 years.
Experienced business mentors prepare young people for the challenges that will face them in the world of business. Mentors aim to be someone who listens and be there as a sounding board to help people build their business with confidence.
Mentoring will help highlight some of the finer details that young people may not have considered such as cash flow and income projections. It will also keep them focused on achieving their business goals at all times.
They will also measure and support budgeting and sales conversion rates and website traffic statistics to give their expert advice to help them to achieve their goals.
Honesty is key in this kind of mentoring environment. Working with people for as long as needed allows a strong relationship to be built. Having a professional ear to listen to their issues and problems in a none judgemental manner allows them to speak freely.
